Paper Carpenter is a film that makes you travel through the stories of a 79-year-old man, who lives in an Elderly Home, located in a small Portuguese village in Alentejo.

Joaquim Fernando Micael shares his memories through his personal narrative, while evoking songs from the past and cutting out the small cardboard boxes of his medicines.

Bringing his clippings to life, the themes move floating between his working age as a carpenter’s assistant in a theater in Estremoz, his years spent working at a gas station, and his admiration as a child for the Festa Brava (Bullfighting).
